    Fried Brussel Sprouts with Parmesan

Learn to love brussel sprouts with this simple parmesan brussel sprouts recipe. Crisp the veggies in the deep-fryer, add some cheese, and enjoy!

Remember when frying to always lower your foods gently into the oil to avoid splashing, fry in batches to ensure the oil stays at the proper temperature and follow all propane-powered fryer safety precautions.

    Serves: 8

    • 2 lbs. Brussel sprouts, halved and dried
    • 1/2 cup parmesan, grated
    • Salt and pepper to taste

    1. Fry Brussels sprouts in four batches at 350 for about 3 minutes each, or until sprouts turn golden brown and float to the top of the oil.
    2. Use a large spider strainer to carefully remove each batch from the hot oil and let drain over a paper towel.
    3. Transfer to a large bowl while warm, sprinkle with parmesan cheese, salt, pepper and serve.
