Ingredients

  • ½ cup favorite whiskey
  • 2 cups lemon-lime soda
  • ½ cup triple sec
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 7 lemons
  • 5 limes
  • 1 orange, sliced, optional
  • Cherries, optional

Instructions

  1. Turn grill on low heat.
  2. Cut 6 lemons, 4 limes in half. Dip in sugar and place on grill to caramelize. Once ready, squeeze juice from lemon and lime halves, removing the pulp and seeds.
  3. To make sour mix, add lemon and lime juices, water and sugar in a pot, and boil until sugar completely dissolves. Let cool before serving in drink.
  4. Cut remaining lemon and lime into slices for garnishing.
  5. In a pitcher, add lemon-lime soda, triple sec, sour mix and favorite whiskey. Stir to combine. Pour in glasses over ice and garnish with lemon and lime slices, plus orange slices and cherries, if desired. Enjoy!
