Stout Pork Ribs

Indulge in the ultimate combo of beer and barbecue with these mouthwatering ribs. Pork ribs paired in a rich, dark glaze made from your favorite stout will have you wanting to celebrate International Beer Day every day. 

 

RIBS INGREDIENTS

  • 2 lbs. pork ribs
  • 12 oz. favorite stout, plus more if smoking ribs
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp. sesame oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 tbsp. garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup brown sugar

 

GLAZE INGREDIENTS

  • ½ cup honey
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp. fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tbsp. garlic, minced
  • 1/3 tsp. black pepper, ground

 

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. To make marinade for pork ribs, combine 12 oz. of your favorite stout with soy sauce, sesame oil, onion, garlic and brown sugar. Mix thoroughly.
  2. Place pork ribs in a large pan and add marinade on top. Seal with plastic wrap and place in refrigerator overnight.
  3. To make the glaze, combine honey, soy sauce, parsley, rosemary, garlic and black pepper. Mix thoroughly and save half for later.
  4. Remove ribs from refrigerator and apply half of the glaze onto the ribs.

  6. After removing ribs from grill, let sit for 15 minutes. Then add remainder of glaze over top and serve.
