Hurricane Harvey Relief
AmeriGas Airborne Efforts
In the wake of Hurricane Harvey, AmeriGas is taking action to help those affected in and around impacted areas. AmeriGas prides itself in being the most reliable, safest and most responsive propane company.
We released our AmeriGas Airborne Division. The Airborne Division is a select group of employees recruited to service our customers by delivering propane when and where it’s needed most. In this case it is during extreme weather conditions such as Hurricane Harvey. This is to ensure our customers have propane available to them in their time of need.
Employees’ mobilizing to assist other locations across the country has been part of the AmeriGas culture for years. Airborne team members are deployed to any district requesting help when a backlog for deliveries could occur. The airborne team works safely and efficiently to assist with deliveries and service until the local office is stabilized and they can return to normal.
AmeriGas offices in South Texas are among those that have been helped out by the Airborne Division this past weekend. AmeriGas is providing additional truckloads of propane cylinders to the surround districts of the affected areas to fulfill the demand that follows the storm. AmeriGas takes pride in moving resources available to where they are needed most. We have over 55 volunteers to help support the mission of servicing our customers no matter the condition.
